No, it was not overkill, in fact I think it may be helpful to many listeners and it confirms the foundation of what I have been doing. Good stuff.
The only real "confusion" is really caused by the difficulty in explaining the concepts in a strictly verbal or textual presentation IMO. A presentation format with some visual representation of the topic would be far easier to clarify, but as always takes a lot more time and effort to prepare.

I have been listening to the early shows on YouTube when I finally decided to just come over here (just like you say at the end of every show). I'm glad I did! Having all of the links that you reference in the shows available here is a wonderful resource.
I am in electronics engineer by training and trade and have been working in digital and analog systems for over 30 years. So watch out, I am listening carefully to your technical comments! 😉
But in my heart I am a hobbyist musician and in the past few years have come to fall in love with the new audio revolution and all that is available in the digital audio workstation domains.
